Pacer Distribution Services, Inc. (PDS) specializes in Import Logistics, or servicing the needs of importers looking to move their goods in a timely and efficient manner to market or their ultimate destination. To accomplish this objective and deliver superior service to our import customers, PDS operates multiple facilities in the Los Angeles area that occupy over 800,000 square feet. These facilities are located within 18 miles or less of the Southern California ports, thereby making possible a timely and efficient flow of ocean containers. PDS is especially familiar with the “Compliance” requirements of shipping to the large retailers and operates a state-of-the-art Warehouse Management System specifically designed to fulfill these challenging business demands. To further boost the quality of service and expedite delivery of ocean containers, PDS Trucking, Inc. also manages its own trucking fleet of 100 owner-operators who service the harbors daily utilizing 2007 emission compliant tractors.

Leveraging other Pacer divisions, PDS has the ability to develop integrated solutions that could include: ocean freight; customs brokerage services; and outbound transportation, including rail-intermodal or over-the-road service.
